Construction notes
The poncho is worked top down, beginning with a panel of double knitted squares and circles at back neck. Front panel is worked in rib and stitches are then picked up and knitted along sides of these for side panels / sleeves.

Some of the elements from Marianne’s first book ‘The Year Around’ are repeated in this one. She has chosen ‘the course of the year’ and the book has small poems for each month. Friend of Marianne and Japanese artist, Kazuyo Imai has decorated the book beautifully with aquarelles for each month.
