CONSTRUCTION NOTES
RAINY is worked in the round with a wide bottom rib edge. After the rib edge the hat is worked in reverse stocking stitch with a pattern of vertical stripes. These vertical stripes are used to embroider in, just as horizontal rounds of back stitch are embroidered on the hat.
