Materials and measurements
MATERIALS
150 (200, 200, 250) g Isager Jensen Yarn, Colour 101
50 (100, 150, 150) g Isager Alpaca 1, Colour 100
One strand of each yarn held together throughout the knitting
MEASUREMENTS
Chest Circumference: 64 (72, 80, 88) cm or 25 (28, 31.5, 35) inches
Length: 36 (40, 44, 48) cm or 14 (15.75, 17.5, 19) inches or desired length
Sleeve length from underarm: 23 (27, 31, 35) or 9 (10.5, 12.25, 13.75) inches
Construction notes
The raglan sweater is knitted from the top down and begins with short row shaping at the neckline after the collar is completed. Increases are worked on each side of the raglan locations to the underarm. The sleeve stitches are set aside while the body is completed. Lastly, the sleeves are completed.
Recommended needle size
4mm (US 6) for the pattern and 3.5mm (US 4) for the bottom band, cuffs and collar
