Product description

ULD 1 is a single-stranded lace yarn. Beautiful on its own for scarves and wrist warmers but also held together with other yarns where ULD 1 can add a lovely variation in colour or give more hold to a design. The yarn lies beautifully in the stitches and gives an exclusive look.
ULD 1 is suitable for plant dyeing.

ULD 1: needle size 3 mm / US 4 = 28 sts / 34 r
ULD 1 + ULD 1: needle size 3 mm / US 4 = 26 sts / 30 r
ULD 1 + ULD 2: needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 24 sts / 28 r
ULD 1 + Tversted Yarn: needle size 5 mm / US 8 = 16 sts / 20 r

  • Meterage 50 g: 300 m
  • The yarn is made from wool from the sheep herd of Shepherd and Shearer Kasper Ledet Hansen. This herd grazes in our local area. We join Kasper when the sheep are sheared, and the wool is sorted.
  • At Uldens Hus (House of Wool) at Skagensvej 74, Tversted, the wool is washed, carded and spun.
  • The wool primarily comes from sheep of mixed breed of Romney, Texel and other breeds.
