Colour 100

Jensen Yarn was never our best selling yarn but it has now become rather popular. In the “old days” the yarn was called ÅLJ, named after Åse Lund Jensen who had it spun at the Danish spinning mill “Skive Uldspinderi” in the 1960ies as her first yarn. Until then Åse had used Swedish yarns but when she sold her designs to customers in USA, weight above 1 kg made the freight costly. She found a lighter yarn at the mill in Skive that could be dyed in her own colour range inspired by plant dye. The Isager yarn colours are still based on the exact same colour range, and we still use the same colour numbers.
