When preparing designs for books, not all make it to the final version.  ZAMBEZI was planned to be included in A KNITTING LIFE – OUT INTO THE WORLD, but the pattern took up too much space in the book, nevertheless It is still a design that Marianne Isager really likes. The beautiful pattern was inspired from a piece of African textile, displayed in a museum in Harare, Zimbabwe.
