This soft scarf is designed by Marianne Isager. The scarf is knitted in Isager Alpaca 1 and different colours of Isager Silk Mohair – play with the colours and create a beautiful effect.
Marianne writes about the design:
“One of the designs that did not fit into the book A Knitting Life volume 3, is the scarf SHORT ROWS. The scarf has four different colour options, inspired by the four seasons, and is knitted using short rows. It has been designed to be equally beautiful on both sides. A detail that I find all scarves should have. It is a fun and easy to knit, and one can easily play with any colours of choice..”

Marianne Isager has designed this elegant vest in Isager Tweed and Isager Alpaca 1
Marianne writes about the design:
“BRIDESHEAD SLIPOVER is inspired by a time where gentlemen wore a slipover and a tweed jacket. I have always thought that it was a wonderful piece of clothing, as it warms the body and works perfectly under a jacket; sleeves can be both too warm and be in the way. I am very fond of British movies like Brideshead Revisited and when I rewatched it recently, I felt an urge to knit a slipover in Isager Tweed.”

“CIRCLE SCARF is knitted using double knitting. It is a technique that I find very useful for scarves, as it looks nice from both sides. The scarf was intended for the book A Knitting Life volume 3 with the idea that it could be used for all the leftovers of Tvinni, Highland and Alpaca 2. All three yarn qualities have the same gauge and can easily be used together. However, the book became so comprehensive that we were not able to include all the designs that I intended to.” – Marianne Isager

“BLACK & WHITE I knitted in the 1990’s, and I still like the graphic design in black and white with marled sections, where black and white are knitted together. Both size and yarn quality have been updated, making the model lighter than the original design. We brought the design for the photo shoot in Japan and the picture is from a street in Tokyo.” – Marianne Isager
BLACK & WHITE is knitted in Tvinni and Silk Mohair.
