New pattern by Marianne Isager
Marianne Isager is ready with a new design – The ULO scarf. ULO is the name of the rounded knife that historically was seen by Greenlandic women as their most important tool. The knife could both cut and scrape sealskins.
ULO is knitted in Isager Jensen Yarn and Isager Silk Mohair and uses the same pattern as the INUIT sweater from A KNITTING LIFE – OUT INTO THE WORLD.
New colours
We have extended the colour palette for ISAGER TRIO 2. We now offer the same colours as for ISAGER TRIO 1.
The following colours have been added: Camel, Chestnut, Granite, Khaki, Nougat, Petroleum, Sky and Thyme.

We have extended the colour range for TVINNI and SPINNI with colour 62, which was a wish from designers for the upcoming Archives collection. The Archives collection will be released in the new year.
We have extended the colour range of Silk Mohair with colour 65.
Colour 65 in Silk Mohair corresponds to colour 28 in SPINNI, TVINNI and JENSEN YARN but as this number was already taken by another delightful red color, we had to choose another number – and chose 65. The new colour 65 in Silk Mohair perfectly matches color 28 in SPINNI, TVINNI and JENSEN YARN.
New colours
We have extended the colour range of JENSEN YARN with two beautiful colours, colour 28 and colour 58.
The colour 28 and 58 were part of the layout for the upcoming Isager Archives Collection but have – until now – only been available in Spinni and Tvinni. Both colours are popular amongst the designers, and we are excited to see their contributions for this collection which takes inspiration from 60’s and 70’s patterns by Åse Lund Jensen. The Archives collection will be released in the new year.
New design by Helga Isager
Gunta Cowl is worked in one strand of Isager Bouclé with a weaving pattern in Jensen Yarn. It is a good project for using scrap yarns, as you only need a few grams of each color.
Helga Isager writes about the design:
Gunta Cowl is named after the German Weaver, Gunta Stölzl, who, with her beautiful graphic weavings, was one of the influential artists at The Bauhaus school in the 1920s.
I am currently very interested in the female weavers of Bauhaus, and I am working on a collection based on their works.
New colours
We have added four beautiful shades of blue to the Silk Mohair colour palette: 54, 16, 11 and 2s. The colours are already available in Tvinni, Spinni and Jensen Yarn, and combines beautifully with the new Silk Mohair colours.
The Highland colour palette has also been added four new colours: Paprika, Hay, Desert and Navy. The colours offers new combinations with Silk Mohair and Alpaca 1. We also like the four new colours in a combination, they could be beautiful in a striped sweater.

Marianne says:
Many years ago, I had a bouclé yarn in the collection. I liked the structure of the yarn, but I never really figured out how to use it. Since then, I have often felt tempted to get bouclé back into our collection. When we visited Peru in the fall of 2022, our supplier showed me different versions in 100 % Alpaca. I have been ‘playing’ with it during the winter in the swatches for my new book and now it is suddenly difficult not to include it in every model. Our new Bouclé yarn consist of 100 % Alpaca and has the same gauge as Isager Jensen Yarn, but this of course changes depending on what technique is used. I very much hope that you will be just as fond of this yarn as I am.
