Short rows

Short Rows are a technique you can use to shape your knitting. You can use short rows on the Front, Back and Sleeves to shape a curved fit over the shoulders and arms. The bottom edge of a sweater can be shaped with short rows, making a longer Back.

When you knit with Short Rows you stop knitting in the middle of the needle/round and knit back again. This way a lengthened piece is created. You can keep knitting Short Rows until you have achieved the desired shape of your knitting.
