CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA
Clouds of Sils Maria is the story about the famous actress Maria Enders. She has been asked to play the part of an ageing actress in the play that made her famous twenty years earlier.
Then she played the young woman Sigrid, who drives her boss Helena to distraction.
Maria finds it difficult to play this part but she is supported by her young, loyal PA Valentina.
Together they travel to the Alps and set to work on the part, which in some ways reflect Maria’s own life.
Juliette Binoche plays the part of Maria Enders beautifully and in some of the scenes in the film she wears an Icelandic sweater.
