Eclogue

Eclogue is a beautiful book by the Japanese designer Toshiyuki Shimada. It consists of patterns with intricate designs and stranded colorwork. The sweater on the cover, Eclogue, is inspired by the beautiful nature in Tversted and there is also a slipover inspired by Åse Lund Jensens’ flower pattern. There are many charts and illustrations in the book, which makes it possible for non-Japanese speaking knitters to knit the patterns, along with a dictionary.
