CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up.
At the armholes the body and sleeves are joined for the yoke, which is worked with raglan decreases. Stitches are bound off for the neck opening and short rows are worked to shape the shoulders. The sleeves are finished with box pleats. The front and back are finished separately and are sewn to the tops of the sleeves with mattress stitches at the end. Stitches are picked up and knitted along the neck opening and a rib neck edge is worked and then folded double towards the wrong side and sewn down.
