MATERIALS

This scarf can be knitted using different yarn types. It can be made using thin, thick or also with different yarns held together. The amount of yarn needed depends on the size of the scarf.
It is recommended to weigh the balls of yarn before starting to knit and then periodically weigh them again. When half of the yarn weight has been used, it can then be determined if there is enough yarn for the whole scarf or whether additional yarn may be needed.
Begin by knitting a small swatch in stockinette stitch to determine which needle size is preferred for the scarf. Also, decide if it desirable for a looser or tighter gauge.

Approximately 120 cm (47 inches) by 15 cm (6 inches) wide or desired length and width

50 g Isager Jensen Yarn, Colour 87

GUAGE
22 sts x 2 (both layers) = 10 cm
28 rows = 10 cm

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
4 mm

Length: 154 cm – incl. 10 cm cord on each side
Width: 13 cm at widest point

VIMPEL IN COLOURS

For the coloured VIMPEL the following yarn was used:
Isager Soft Fine, Colour E2s
The remaining four colours used in Isager Spinni are Colour 11s (light blue), Colour 59 (yellow), Colour 54 (blue), and Colour 64 (orange).
It is recommended to knit the first section with increases using Soft Fine held with one strand of one of the colours of Spinni. Then, replace Isager Spinni with a different colour of Spinni every 6 cm. Lastly, work the final section with decreases using the colours in the same sequence as used at the beginning.
