CONSTRUCTION NOTES

The Jacket is worked from Sleeve to Sleeve. Begin with a short circular needle to work in the round and then work increases until the Sleeve reaches the full width. Then, cast on stitches on each side for the Front and Back and continue to work back and forth over all stitches until the neckline is reached. The work is now divided into the Front and the Back. Continue over the Back stitches until the neckline measures 15 cm. Then, transfer the stitches of the Back to a stitch holder or contrast colored yarn and set aside. Continue to work on the Front piece until the stitches of the Front are bound off. Then, stitches are cast on for the second Front piece. When the same width is reached as on the first Front piece, then the second Front and Back pieces are joined and the body is completed. Cast off stitches on both sides and work the second Sleeve in the round to the same length as the first.
