K7, turn the work and K6, K1f&b in the last stitch (8 stitches). Continue as established with Color B and work 2 stockinette rows and then change to Color A and work 4 garter stitch rows, while always increasing one stitch at the end of every WS row by working into the front and the back of the stitch in established pattern. When 30 (33, 36, 39, 42) stitches are on the needle and the last 4 rows are worked with Color A, begin Triangle 2.

SQUARE 7
With the RS facing, begin at the top point of Triangle 1 and with Color A, pick up 29 (32, 35, 38, 41) stitches on the left edge of Triangle 1 in the direction of the arrow (see sketch) as follows: Pick up 2 stitches in the two garter ridges worked in Color A and one stitch in the stockinette stripe worked in Color B. Transfer the last picked up stitch to the left needle and k2tog, thereby joining the Square 7 to Triangle 6. *Turn the work and knit 29 (32, 35, 38, 41) stitches. Turn the work again and knit 28 (32, 35, 38, 41) stitches and k2tog*. Repeat from * to * in established pattern, changing Colors A and B as required to maintain the stitch pattern, until all stitches of the Triangle have been joined to the Square. Break the yarns and place the stitches of the last row onto a stich holder.
Page 132, column 2, section 2:
SLEEVES
With a short circular needle and with Color B, pick up 29 (32, 35, 38, 41) stitches along the edge of Square 20. Place a marker. Then, continue along the two sides of Square 30 placing a marker at the end of each side. Then, work across the stitches of Square 19. There are 116 (128, 140. 152, 164) stitches on the needle. Join the sleeve to work in the round, place a BOR marker and knit another round. Ensure that there are the same number of stitches between the four markers. Change to Color A and work one chevron round as follows: slip BOR marker, * K1, M1L, knit across to 2 sts before the next marker, SSK, slip marker, K1, K2tog, continue to knit to next marker, M1L, slip marker * Continue to knit until two stitches before the next marker and M1L, slip marker. Repeat from * to *. Now, continue as follows: purl 1 plain round (without increases or decreases), work 1 chevron round (with increases and decreases), and purl 1 plain round.
